Winter Olympians – Squaw Valley USA, 1960
In 1960, Victorian Dick Walpole and New South Welshman Hal Nerdal represented Australia at the Winter Olympic Games – Squaw Valley, USA. Hal Nerdal was selected as a Nordic Combined representative (cross country skiing & jumping). Both these skiers have just been awarded the Snow Australia Medal.
